This year, your gaming experience on PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® will be even better! In Tour de France, join forces with one of the official pro teams and pit your talents against the great cycling champions in this exceptional competition. Take your place in the peloton and tackle the 21 official stages of the 100th edition of the “Grande Boucle”!
This year, you have full control of what happens in the race. Firstly, Tour de France’s fully-reviewed, more dynamic gameplay enables you to plan your trajectory, and even the slightest bend, precisely, so that you can reduce your opponents’ lead by following the optimum path! Secondly, advanced effort management gives you access to two different gear ratios, allowing you to manage both your speed and your recovery.
The Tour de France often gives rise to epic duels, and Tour de France on console is no different. In multiplayer mode on the same console (up to 2 players), challenge your friends and fight for the right to wear the yellow jersey in closely-fought battles! Only a perfect trajectory and efficient management of your effort will allow you to come out on top!
For its 100th edition, the “Grande Boucle” boasts an exceptional route which, for the very first time, will pass through Corsica, with a stage that begins in Porto-Vecchio and with passages through Bastia, Ajaccio and Calvi. After 7 flat stages for sprint specialists, 5 hilly stages, 6 mountain stages and 3 time trials, the Tour de France will culminate in the traditional finish on the Champs Elysées!
